**Objective**

The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence within the warehouse team. As the operational leader, they inspire and motivate a group of warehouse operators to achieve peak performance while fostering a strong sense of teamwork. In addition to their leadership duties, the Warehouse Lead is hands-on, dedicating 80% of their time to performing key operational tasks and ensuring the smooth handling of goods. Administrative responsibilities also form an essential part of their role.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**

Operational leadership
- Lead, inspire, and develop the team by motivating, coaching, and guiding them to success.
- Oversee task distribution within the team to ensure efficiency and balance.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse.
- Adjust work schedules dynamically to meet fluctuating workloads.

Warehouse Operations
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring smooth operations and proper handling.
- Supervise the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management every day.

Administration
- Validate and track the arrival and departure of trucks.
- Prepare, review, and sign off on CMRs and loading lists.
- Oversee daily work planning to ensure seamless operations.

Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and other departments.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written
- You have a forklift and/or reach truck certificate

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge of professional terminology in both Dutch and English to ensure smooth contacts with customers, suppliers (such as transport companies) and colleagues
- Knowledge of the WMS System
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of administrative and logistics processes
