As an Academy Support Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations and management team within the academy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future football stars while gaining valuable insights into the workings of a top-tier football organization. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the daily coordination of the Youth Academy's operations. Process and analyze data related to player performance, training schedules, and other key metrics using tools like Power BI. Support in organizing events, workshops and meetings. Help maintain accurate records and databases to ensure smooth operational flow. Collaborate with various departments within the academy to streamline processes. Assist in creating reports and presentations for the management team. Provide general administrative support as needed. Learning Opportunities: Gain an in-depth understanding of how a professional football club operates on a daily basis. Develop skills in sports management, data analysis, and operational processes. Learn how to use data-driven tools like Power BI to enhance decision-making in a sports environment. Experience firsthand the operations and logistics involved in running a successful youth academy. Build a professional network within one of Belgium’s most prestigious football clubs. Requirements: Being a Student in higher education or University, Business management or sportsmanagement is a plus. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Fench or Dutch and English. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI. A passion for football and a keen interest in sports management. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
