Role responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include some the following:
Supporting and engaging with clients by leading projects in all aspects of actuarial work including reserving, pricing, capital management and model development. Working on the development of the business and building client relations. Leading project teams, managing the work of other team members, reviewing the quality and progress to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the client. Contribute to the development of the company's intellectual capital including plans for taking this to market. Leveraging knowledge through training, development and mentoring of other colleagues within Milliman.What makes working with us unique is the variety of the work we do and the impact we create for our clients. We work on projects in a wide variety of areas, mostly in non-life and life insurance, but also covering data science, health and reinsurance.

Who are we looking for?
Milliman Brussels is looking for a senior actuarial and financial risk professional with working experience and relevant technical skills in the Belgian non-life insurance market. You will bring your own unique experience, which will help you to further develop within our organization. You will be working with a team of actuaries on projects primarily with non-life insurance clients, but potentially also with health and life insurance clients.
The perfect Milliman candidate should be bright, energetic, able to maintain and develop client working relations, manage work and be a motivator for our analysts and consultants.
Requirements:
Actuarial consulting and/or relevant technical and managerial experience 7+ years of relevant working experience in the Belgian non-life insurance market Actuarial or technical studies background Fellow of the IA|BE or a similar association Energetic, intelligent and self-motivated Entrepreneurial, able to maintain and develop client working relations Effective communication skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluency in English and either French or DutchWhat do we offer?
