Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Global Logistics Network Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and solution-oriented to join our Global Logistics team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.About the roleYou will lead the implementation and governance of UCB’s global logistics network, ensuring performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency. You’re going to shape strategic partnerships with logistics service providers and drive continuous improvement across our global supply primary and secondary distribution.Who you will work withYou will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Supply Network Operations, Market Supply Operations, Quality Assurance, Logistics Operations, and Supply Chain Excellence. You’ll also lead a team of logistics analysts and work closely with global logistics partners to deliver UCB’s ambitions.What you will do• You will define business needs and lead logistics partner assessments in collaboration with Procurement.• You will be responsible for selecting and managing global logistics service providers.• You will manage strategic relationships and performance reviews with key logistics partners.• You will drive simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.• You will lead a team of analysts and support their growth and development.• You will support the global logistics budget and act as backup for the Head of Global Logistics.Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:• Minimum 10 years’ experience in global logistics, including cold chain, ideally in pharma.• Strong understanding of Upstream and downstream supply chain and GDP compliance.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.• Proven leadership experience with team development and performance management.• Fluent in English; French is a plus.• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and logistics/quality systems.Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
