Overview PM Group Benelux has a requirement for a Commercial Lead / Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial aspects of a large Data Center Construction Project in Belgium. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong candidate with significant experience of large-scale construction projects. Responsibilities Lead commercial management for main construction and MEP contractsManage quantity surveying functions and cost planning activitiesOversee contract administration and ensure compliance with termsHandle variation management, claims assessment, and change controlConduct monthly valuations and progress certificationsNegotiate commercial settlements and resolve disputesSupport procurement activities and tender evaluationsManage subcontractor commercial relationships and paymentsPrepare commercial reports and cash flow forecastsLead final account negotiations and contract close-outIdentify and mitigate commercial risks throughout project phases Qualifications 8+ years quantity surveying/commercial management in major constructionChartered RICS status or equivalent professional qualificationProven experience with large-scale construction projects (€100M+)Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT)Experience with data center or mission-critical infrastructure preferredAdvanced cost management and commercial acumenDispute resolution and claims management experienceData center construction knowledge and MEP systems understandingProficiency in commercial software (CostX, Candy, Excel)Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilitiesFluent English; local language skills advantageousClient-facing experience with major contractors and consultants
