Senior Director Product Stewardship, Policy, Advocacy and Intelligence

Description Overview In this role, you will lead Perrigo’s global product stewardship, regulatory policy, and engagement strategy so as to enable innovation, ensure compliance, and shape the external environment. This role will serve as a key member of the senior scientific leadership team and will drive enterprise-wide stewardship, regulatory foresight, and stakeholder engagement to support Perrigo’s mission of advancing consumer health. Reports to: Chief Science OfficerScope of the Role Product Stewardship Strategy Serve as a strategic advisor to the company on global regulatory trends, product stewardship, and policy. Champion a forward-looking stewardship model that enables innovation while ensuring safety, compliance, and sustainability. Leadership of strategic oversight and analysis considering breath of external factors triggering ingredient and material evaluations to arrive at recommendations to build both resilience in existing portfolio and competitive advantage for innovation pipeline. Lead the development and execution of a global product stewardship framework across all business units and geographies. Ensure stewardship oversight, escalation and visibility of key product lifecycle management, and environmental impact programs through enterprise risk and executive leadership team engagement. Ensure Perrigo compliance with global product stewardship standards and regulations. Regulatory Policy & Intelligence Proactively shape global regulatory landscapes through engagement with health authorities, trade associations, and policy forums. Lead regulatory foresight and scenario planning to anticipate emerging risks and opportunities. Lead the development and execution of frameworks that enable oversight of regulatory intelligence and priority policy topics to inform out external advocacy efforts, adaption of internal strategies and risk minimization approaches. Provide strategic leadership in the design and implementation of capability programs for both external facing representatives and internal subject matter experts focused on regulatory intelligence and policy. Drive a cohesive enterprise-wide approach that enhances external influence and ensures internal regulatory strategies are informed, aligned and executed with precision. Public Affairs & External Engagement Partner with Government Affairs to lead Perrigo’s voice in public health policy, regulatory reform, and industry coalitions. Represent Perrigo as a thought leader in global forums, advocating for science-based regulation and sustainable innovation. Organizational Leadership Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed team with expertise in stewardship, policy, and intelligence. Foster a culture of excellence, agility, and continuous learning Experience Required Typically the experience required will come with 10+ years in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, regulatory policy in the consumer health sectors. Proven track record of influencing global regulatory policy and leading cross-functional initiatives. Experience engaging with senior government officials, NGOs, and industry bodies.
