**Topics**

**Topic 1: The state of cloud workflows**

**Abstract**:As an intern, you will play a crucial role in analysing and evaluating how to deploy and manage workflows across different Azure compute environments. This internship focuses on gaining a comprehensive understanding of various workflow offerings, how workflows are structured, the development experience, and identifying the most suitable use cases. You will also assess their efficiency and maintainability.

You will collaborate with various teams to gather data, map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and discuss potential scenarios. Additionally, you will develop multiple proof of concepts (POCs) to compare technologies and evaluate their effectiveness.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop proof of concepts and conduct a detailed assessment of existing workflows engines and their key functionalities.
- Work closely with technical teams to gather insights about the current implementations at customers.
- Analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of workflows, identifying areas for improvement.

**Learning Outcomes**:

- Gain a deep understanding of how to develop, run and manage workflow on Azure and on containerized environment (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Learn to assess whether a technology aligns to operational processes.

**Topic 2: Application Landing Zone for Azure Container Apps**

**Abstract**:Are you passionate about cloud computing and eager to make a real impact? During your internship, you will be part of the process to streamline & mature the posture in our Azure Cloud Native Container Apps offering.

This internship provides the opportunity to design and deploy secure, scalable environments for Azure Container Apps on Microsoft Azure. You’ll collaborate with experienced Cloud architects & our “Center of Excellence” throughout the entire deployment lifecycle, including designing, building, testing, and deploying.

You’ll focus on understanding the best practices, templates, and configurations needed to establish a production-ready Azure Container Apps environment that meets security and compliance requirements. You will also work on integrating Azure resources, with virtual networks, subnets, security groups that are designed to work together to provide a secure and compliant environment for deploying and managing Azure Container Apps workloads.

**Topic 3: Data governance best practices and tools in Azure**

**Abstract**:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team and explore the best practices and tools for data governance in Microsoft Azure. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Azure’s robust data governance framework, including data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and compliance management. You will work closely with our data team to research, implement, and document effective data governance strategies, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. By the end of the internship, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of data governance strategies and the practical skills to implement them using Azure tools.
