**Description**:
We are looking for a Transversal Project and Escalation Manager who will be reporting directly to the Technology director at company, in a team of 6 members, working 2 times a week from Brussels.
**Must have**:
Project management with top reporting skills
Experience / interest for 5G innovative projects
Able to (project)lead colleagues from different teams without being functional boss
**Mission/purpose**:
Based on client's strategy and operational or regulatory requirements; and with respect for the objectives, budget, resources and timing, leads the delivery of the 5G Innovation B2B projects from client. In addition, this role will manage the customer-centric escalations done from client to company.
Key responsibility areas (focus on major activities/responsibilities, listing the most important first)
Most roles can be described in 5 to 7 major responsibility areas.
Ensures the role of company contact person towards client for the 5G Innovation B2B projects. This includes regular updates/presentations towards client, external customers and/or subsidy instance.
Implements project management at company side for the client B2B innovation projects.
Drives the operational achievements of the client B2B projects according to the expectations of client and the external customer.
Ensures the regular status updates of the projects, including risk and opps and ways to mitigate blocking points.
Understands the high-level technological content of the related innovation projects.
Coordinate the client customer-centric complaints from client to company. This includes the intensive communication and follow-up of resolution with the (end) customer.
Provide regular overview of ongoing escalations.
Implement the role of problem management for the client escalations; analyze on regular basis the list of escalations and trigger process/tool/technical improvements to prevent specific escalations in the future.
Drive the continuous improvement for the way of working of the escalation flow between company, client and customer. This includes the documentation of the incident and escalation flows.
Major interactions with
Client and external customers for both the 5G Innovation projects and the customer-centric escalations.
Company departments to coordinate the technical evolution of the projects/escalations.
**External interaction**: Suppliers (mainly Nokia), Subsidy instance, 3rd parties delivering (part of) the innovative solutions.

This role will take the project lead for the 5G innovation projects and the customer-centric escalations. People management will thus be in a functional way and not hierarchical.
Education, specific training and experience
Engineering degree in telecommunications
Knowledge of Telecommunications, Radio features and protocols and procedures (including message).
**Minimum experience**: 5 years in Telecom.
Minimum of 5 years experience in project management for technology projects.
Sense of initiative.
Ability to solve problems.
Good Planning & Organization skills
Can analyse risk and anticipate (risk mitigation).
Interpersonal skills (Communication, client management and negotiation skills, including fluency in foreign languages).
Communication skills.
Negotiation skills.
Coaching skills (able to drive people)
Persuasiveness and diplomacy.
Presentation skills.
EN is a must, any of the two national languages NL/FR is a plus
