For our **GBU Flexible Generation & Retail**, we are looking for a

**Fleet Manager**

In this position, you will have a wide range of **variety** and **responsibilities** to, **implement the ambitions and Operational Excellence** for our Thermal, Battery and H2 activities and as **Category Manager** to manage supplier relationships and renegotiate the LTSA contracts related to **Power Train activities**.

**Your Key Responsibilities as** **Fleet Manager** **and **Category Manager **power train**

As Fleet Manager, your will be a **driver behind Operational Excellence, ultimately to improve the fleet availability**. You will challenge the performance and suggest and drive improvement programs. At the same time you will have a **strong focus on the contracting and procurement side with respect to power train equipment**. You will define the strategy for the Power Train Category. Therefore you will manage the strategic relationships with our preferred suppliers.

Key activities:

- Manages and coordinates the action plan based on the strategy.
- Challenge the operational performance of the fleet and report to the Excom and the Regions
- Benchmark the fleet performance
- Lead and/or participate in peer review and audits
- Facilitate networking, connecting competences
- Leading or active role in transversal programs.
- Challenge & Support to Asset Management & Maintenance investment files e.g upgrades & life time extension.
- Organize Strategic Business Reviews with preferred suppliers and formal evaluation of their performance
- Handle major disputes with main Power Train with support of regional Fleet Managers, Category Lead Buyers and business stakeholders
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary (Category) Team consisting of e.g. Fleet Manager, Category Lead Buyers and business specifiers from different geographies
- Manage the portfolio of Long Term Service Agreements including calls for tender, negotiations on behalf of Group entities.
- Compile and consolidates all internal and external data on procurement requirements and supplier markets (trends, key stakeholders) for the power train category
- Draws up and consolidates performance reports based on economic impact analysis and performance gains from contracts and agreements signed.
- Drives action plan together with internal experts to reduce carbon footprint of OEMs

**Your Profile as** **Fleet Manager***
- You have a University degree in engineering and 15 years of minimum working experience in an industrial environment
- You have an experience in management of Generation assets and maintenance, extensive knowledge of operations and management processes in the power plant environment.
- You have an extensive knowledge of data processes, systems, etc.
- You have the understanding of the technical and commercial principles underlying relevant commercial contracts and agreements.
- You are used to interacting with internal and external contacts from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
- You are a conceptual thinker with good commercial judgement and fluid decision-making skills
- You are a team player, an ace planner with a high degree of autonomy and an innate sense of priorities.
- You communicate with impact and influence and have an open attitude
- You are an naturally born motivator with inspirational leadership & coaching skills to develop others
- Languages : Perfect command of English, Spanish is a valuable asset.

**Workplace**:

- Preferably based in **Brussels** **or Paris**, but any other location within your scope is also possible
- Full time position, the role includes frequent traveling (up to 20%)
