Global Procurement Manager IT - Energies - Antwerp - 18-Month Contract
Do you want to work with a world leader in material technology? This opportunity is currently available to a Global Procurement Manager to support our clients growing portfolio of projects globally across material science, chemistry and metallurgy.
**Responsibilities**:
Lead and develop the CPC IT team
To lead the CPC IT team and cross functional working groups to achieve a high level of performance, integration and consistency in procurement across the category.
To provide category expert advice and knowledge to key stakeholders of respective global supply markets, competitors and product innovations
To act as account manager between the client and Suppliers, and establish and maintain a strong business relationship to ensure the highest level of service delivery
To build strong relationships with internal customers and ensure customer satisfaction
To facilitate communication between your department and other departments, and implement improvement actions where required
To prepare and lead agreement negotiations on high impact, complex supply arrangements and contract issues in cross functional teams to deliver better category outcome.
**Requirements**:
**Management skills**: Managing spend of approximately Mio € 50-70
**Risk impact**: supply interruptions of IT/IS goods and services with risk op business interruption, less efficient employees due to unavailability of IT ware.
**People skills**: able to manage a team of 6
Deep understanding of the client's business needs and expectations of internal customers
Profound knowledge of IT market, domain and related categories
Good knowledge of English (Dutch, French and German is a plus
Postgraduate degree preferred
