**Your function**:
This job is positioned in Brussels and the scope of your main responsibilities are:
**Operational activities**
- Maintaining records, processing and verifying new business, claims and financial flows, and ensuring issues are addressed effectively.
- Based on guidelines, calculation of reinsurance premiums, profit commission and other financial items; assist in preparing the relevant documentation (billing statements and updating financial accounts).
- Support the underwriting process of inward and outward reinsurance contracts, ensuring appropriate information & documentation and understand contract wordings.
- Participating in claims improvement projects; improve the processes even the use of IT-tools.
- Assist in the implementation of Group reporting tools.
- Maintenance and monitoring of the control framework of our reinsurance activities.
- Collaborate with our corporate departments regarding outsourced tasks.

**Accounting & Reporting**
- Ensuring timely and accurate accounting and reserve reporting.
- Support consistently and accurately the periodic financial and management reporting.
- Ensure that the effective collection of reinsurance recoveries.
- Coordination of the statistical information gathering, supporting the steering of the reinsurance activities.

**Your profile**:

- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in accounting, insurance or equivalent.
- You have relevant work experience in the financial services industry; experience in or knowledge of claims management and reporting is a plus.
- You have a good working knowledge of MS Office and advanced excel skills, knowledge of Business Objects is a plus.
- You have excellent administrational and organizational skills.
- Skilled in administration, accuracy, detailed, numerate and eager to learn.
- Communicating skills with internal and external parties.
- You are a team player, but you are able to work independently as well.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
