Within the Tribe Segment of Industries, we are looking for a Sales Account Manager to strengthen the squad in East Flanders/Flemish Brabant.
- You will be responsible for the growth of the turnover of key customer(s) in the East Flanders/Flemish Brabant area for the Proximus Group.
- In your approach, you will build a strategic partnership with your customers, utilizing the full expertise of the Proximus Group for traditional, IT, and innovative solutions.
- You will develop an in-depth knowledge of the customer(s)/segment and build a trust relationship up to the C-level, enabling you to propose and realize projects with high added value.
- You will build and maintain a network of customers by participating in external events such as Voka or other sector-driven initiatives.
- You will initiate targeted opportunities, negotiate, and defend all deals to a successful conclusion.
- You are a team player with strong people management skills, motivating all stakeholders.
- In close collaboration with the Solutions Team, you ensure that the delivered solutions are relevant and in line with the customer's request and are delivered in accordance with the quotation; you also personally follow up on complex deals.
- You provide management with a clear insight into market trends, challenges, and opportunities with your customers—enabling the Proximus Group to proactively respond to market developments.
- Through your to-the-point reporting, you contribute to budget determinations for the relevant portfolios and the realization of the sales budget.
- Your effective stakeholder management, both internally and externally, makes you a valued interlocutor at all levels within the organization.
- You report to the CO Region East and West Flanders; functionally, you work in the Tribe Segment of Industries Area, Squad East Flanders/Flemish Brabant.

Your Profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience in strategic Account Management and/or Business Development within B2B environments and have a passion for developing and growing your customer portfolio.
- You have relevant experience and knowledge of solutions within the telecom or ICT sector and have a passion for new developments and innovation in these domains. Affinity with Cloud, security, and other IT concepts, in general, is an absolute asset for this role.
- You can develop a growth plan and a clear vision for the customer portfolio you are responsible for (Account Planning & Territory Management).
- You are a strong communicator who navigates easily in a complex stakeholder landscape and has good negotiation skills.
- You are solution-oriented, creative, and can easily adapt.
- You are a team player with people-management skills to lead virtual teams.
- You are capable of influencing decision-making processes and use a thoughtful strategy for this purpose.
- Customer satisfaction is of great importance to you.
- The visibility and high expectations associated with the responsibility for one or more key customer(s) motivate you.
- You are bilingual (Dutch & French) with a good knowledge of English.
