IT-Planet is een gespecialiseerd informatica projectsourcing bedrijf, gelegen te Gent. We zijn actief bij diverse grote klanten over heel Vlaanderen en Brussel in volgende ICT-domeinen: Application Development, Infrastructure Services & Software Testing. Om ons team van 180 medewerkers te versterken zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een **Mainframe 2nd Line Support **om aan de slag te gaan bij onze klant in **Berchem**.
- Deze positie kan worden ingevuld met zowel vast contract (bediendestatuut) als freelance contract

Functie
Je werkt in het agile mainframe team, verantwoordelijk voor 2nd Line support van onze mainframe/CICS applicatie, die gebruikt wordt.
- Je werkt nauw samen met level 1 operations om de best mogelijke oplossing te realiseren binnen elke verschillende context.
- Je ondersteunt in Cobol V5 op IBM Z/OS mainframe
- Je begrijpt de technische architectuur
- Je verrijkt de bestaande support documentatie
- Je onderhoudt nauwe communicatie met zowel het development team als het eerstelijns support team.
Functie-eisen
- Je werkt nauwkeurig en oplossingsgericht
- Je bent communicatief vaardig en een echte teamplayer
- Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit
- Je kunt omgaan met stressvolle situaties
- Ervaring met Cobol (+5 jaar)
- Kennis van IBM Mainframe
- Kennis van CICS
- Kennis van VSAM
- Kennis van Batch
- Kennis van RDZ is een plus
- Kennis van JCL
- Kennis van SDSF
- Talen: NL/ENG/FR vloeiend
