**Associate Process Improvement Specialist**

**Summary**

The Associate Process Improvement role involves analyzing processes and implementing changes to improve overall performance in the business area, in support of the Process Improvement Manager.

**Responsibilities**

**More specifically, you will participate in the following**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders of the process for which improvement is requested, to gain a full understanding of the process in question;
- Complete a critical review of the process flow and data;
- Build and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness;
- Provide training on newly introduced process improvements;
- Perform required maintenance and sustainment activities for implemented improvements;
- Adhere to applicable standards and regulations such as ISO 13485, ISO 15189, CAP/CLIA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 820, and IVDR, as appropriate;
- Oversee improvement timelines with the support of the Manager;
- Identify and escalate issues/risks in a timely and proactive manner;
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support business needs.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering) or Computer Programming. A Master’s degree is a plus;
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred;
- LEAN/Six Sigma belt preferred.

**Main Requirements**
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile) as well as the development and deployment of programming and efficiency tools;
- Strong interest in analyzing processes and problem-solving abilities;
- Efficient communication skills;
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges;
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools;
- Mastery of Office 365 suite, including advanced formulas, VBA macros, Power Pivot, Power BI, and Power Automate.

**Working Conditions**
- Based in Wilrijk, Antwerp (Belgium);
- Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite.
