We are looking for a **CMS Tech and Automation Senior Scientist** who is **innovative**, **collaborative**, and **tech-savvy** to join our **CMS team**, based at our UCB campus in **Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium or in Slough, England**.
**About the Role**
**Who You Will Work With**
You will collaborate with a dynamic team of experts in cyber, digital, and automation, as well as other internal and external partners. Your work will support local site operations with a focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and processes optimization.
**What You Will Do**
- Evaluate novel technologies and local digital solutions.
- Interact with cyber, digital, and IT teams.
- Identify and address problematic processes.
- Support troubleshooting technology and automation issues.
- Participate in technology development teams.
- Use internships, students, and collaborations to drive innovation.
**Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following qualifications, experience, and skills**
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong knowledge of New biological Entity (NBE) and/or New Chemical Entities (NCE) development.
- Familiarity with data analysis, data integrity, and big data opportunities.
- Motivation to learn about new activities and identify synergies.
- Innovative and collaborative spirit.
- Understanding of Good Scientific Practices (GSP) and GMP.
- Ability to connect different groups and identify synergies transversally.
