Christeyns is looking for a **Business Development Manager Contract Manufacturing.**
**Christeyns** is a privately owned detergents and chemicals group, with activities in several markets worldwide, completely focused on a B-2-B environment. Our head office is located in **Ghent**, Belgium. The Group employs about 1400 people across 40 countries. Over the last 15 years, Christeyns has enjoyed rapid growth of around 15% per year and now has a consolidated turnover of around 445 million Euro.
Christeyns stands for premium detergents and disinfectants, reliable equipment and flexible customised service. Our portfolio includes hygiene solutions for professional têxtile care, food processing & retail, the professional cleaning industry and the medical and life sciences sectors.
Our Business Unit Contract Manufacturing provides manufacturing solutions for customers in various areas of business. Christeyns provides the manufacturing of chemicals and taylor made support in regulatory affairs, packaging, logisticswhen necessary. Rapid growth and increasing opportunities raise the need to strengthen the contract manufacturing department on corporate level.
- First and foremost you develop the business of peracetic acid within our network of prospects and customers, mainly in **Western Europe**. You support the business through sales and support customers with identifying opportunities.
- You assess the business through **desk research** and visiting fairs on one hand, and **prospection** on the other hand. This way you broaden our portfolio of customers and our portfolio of products and markets (e.g. liquids and powders).
- You work closely together with our R&D department (product development), the Regulatory Affairs Department (compliance) and our Logistics Department.
- You **support** the launching of a new cooperation as a project manager from the commercial intake until the delivery on site to our industrial customers or distributors.
- You are a** key member** within the Department, reporting to the Business Unit Director contract manufacturing.
- You have a **master degree**, preferably with a **technical background**.
- Experience or education in chemistry is an advantage.
- You speak **English**(company language) and **French**. Knowledge of Dutch and German is an asset.
- Able and willing to travel.
