Business Analyst - Risk & Credits Data Store
Join an international financial environment where data is at the heart of decision-making. We're looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen the Risk & Credits tribe and support the central data store squad. You'll be part of a team ensuring high-quality data for risk reporting, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics.
**Location**: Brussels - 2 days per week onsite
**Contract Type**: CDI/Freelance
**️ Start Date**: ASAP
**️ Languages**: Dutch or French (fluent/good) + English (fluent in writing, good spoken)
**Responsibilities**:
Maintain and extend the data model for the central datastore (Testudo).
Profile and analyse data to improve model quality and support users.
Define mapping and transformation rules from source systems.
Assist developers with specifications and test implementations.
Ensure correct deployment in production environments.
Support data stewards with data quality monitoring.
Provide 2nd/3rd line support to reporting teams, back office, and risk functions.
Contribute to regulatory reporting, risk models, and credit monitoring initiatives.
**Requirements**:
Technical
At least 2+ years' experience as Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
SQL expertise and experience with database-driven squads.
Strong functional/technical analysis and testing skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
**Preferable**: Oracle, Sybase IQ, Informatica ETL, Linux, programming notions.
Business
Experience with credits and large-scale IT development.
Knowledge of data analysis, requirements documentation, and testing.
Agile environment experience in a large/complex organization.
**Preferable**: Credit risk knowledge, EU regulation (Basel III, MCD), economics/maths background

Team player with a proactive, project-minded approach.
Excellent communication, influencing, and documentation skills.
Precision, autonomy, and perseverance in meeting deadlines.
