We are looking for a **Global Data Governance Lead who is collaborative and detail-oriented** to join us in our **Data Office team**, based in our **Anderlecht office in Brussels, Belgium**.

**About the role**

You will be working within a team that drives UCB’s data strategy by shaping how we manage, govern, and leverage data across the organization. In this role, you will design and implement governance frameworks, develop global policies, and support data initiatives that ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and sustainable data solutions that support UCB’s long-term vision.

**Who you’ll work with**

You will join a dynamic and agile team within UCB’s Data Office, collaborating with experts across business functions, data analytics and technology. Together, we’re building a forward-looking data culture and enabling smarter decisions through meaningful and trusted data.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop and implement global policies and best practices for data governance and data management
- Identify organizational needs and define data strategy initiatives
- Align all initiatives with regulatory standards and industry best practices
- Support teams by providing guidance and training for the data governance strategies and data management standards
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to integrate our data strategy, initiatives and standards into our infrastructure
- Monitor and report progress of data initiatives and mitigate associated risks and impacts
- Contribute to team planning, execution, and communication at all levels

**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills**
- Master's degree with 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry or similar field
- Minimum 5 years in similar functional or cross functional role
- Proven success developing data policies, standards, and best practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and functions
- Excellent problem-solving mindset and ability to lead complex initiatives
- Experience in regulated environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver data aligned with business needs
