Who are we?
**JSR Micro NV** is part of the Japanese multinational JSR Corporation, which employs 7000 people worldwide in the chemical and life science sector. We are located in **Leuven** since 1988 and employ **230 people**.
**JSR Micro NV produces state-of-the-art photoresists for the semiconductor industry that are used all over the world. Photoresists are photosensitive polymers used in the production of electronic components in computers, tablets, and smartphones. JSR is the market leader for these products through its innovative development and close collaboration with its customers.**
In our Life Sciences division, we have a plant for the production of protein A chromatography media, an important excipient used by our customers for the production of the latest generation of biological medicines for the treatment of a.o. cancer and immune disorders.
Through its innovative materials and state-of-the-art technology, JSR Micro NV aims to make a positive contribution to the sustainable development of energy and the environment. JSR Micro NV develops, amongst others, materials used in advanced batteries and actively follows up the latest developments.
Job content:
We are seeking a **skilled Strategic Account Manager** to join our team. As a Strategic Account Manager, you **will be responsible for establishing and executing a plan of action for specific European customers**. You must **possess a thorough understanding of the market to develop strategies that meet customer needs while also aligning with the goals of our organization**.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect with customers, including higher management, to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Analyze market trends and develop proposals based on data.
- **Work preferably in Belgium** and **travel at least 50% of the time**.
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's or **Master's degree** and find your way in technical information.
- **Proven track record** as an account manager with a **strategic mindset**.
- **Customer-focused policy** and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Active listener with **excellent persuasion** and relationship-building skills.
- Core competencies in prioritizing, **flexibility**, and maintaining a helicopter view.
- Proven **leadership skills** with a bias for action and independence.
- **Excellent** verbal and written communication skills in** English**, with fluency in other European languages (French, German, Italian) being a plus.
- Knowledge of semiconductors is a plus, but not a requirement.
