**Job Summary**

As a **Risk Manager** in this role, you will provide key support services to help the Senior Risk Manager maintain operational and compliance stability. You will assist with identifying qualified traders, coordinating their transition from simulated payout accounts to live prop accounts, facilitating compliance and onboarding with our FCM or brokerage, and acting as a direct point of contact for traders throughout the process.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Risk Limit Implementation & Monitoring**:

- Implement risk limits for individual traders and trading desks as directed by the Senior Risk Manager.
- Assist in monitoring the firm’s trading activities to ensure they are within set risk limits.
- Generate regular risk and performance reports for individual traders and the firm, and submit them to the Senior Risk Manager.

**Compliance and Payout Support**:

- Ensure traders are aware of and adhere to the firm’s compliance requirements.
- Support the process of evaluating trader performance for payouts and progression within the firm.

**Trader Transition & Onboarding**:

- Identify qualified traders for transition into the Real Prop environment.
- Reach out to selected traders, schedule and conduct transition meetings, and review real prop account terms in detail.
- Work with traders to collect and process necessary documentation for FCM or brokerage onboarding.
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date records for each trader, including their transition stage, required documents, and progress, within the firm’s CRM system.
- Gather account data and prepare tailored account terms for recruited traders.

**Documentation and Communication**:

- Document and report all support interactions, issues, and resolutions in a clear, organized manner.
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure seamless communication and accurate information dissemination.

**Risk Mitigation Support**:

- Assist in implementing and maintaining risk mitigation strategies, such as hedging, as directed by the Senior Risk Manager.

**Reporting & Metrics**:

- Compile and deliver individual trader and firmwide reports and metrics to the Senior Risk Manager on a regular basis.

**Continuous Learning and Process Improvement**:

- Stay up to date with industry best practices in support and trader services.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding, compliance, and support processes.

**Work Environment**
- Remote position with the ability to accommodate work hours consistent with US Pacific to Eastern time zones.
- Maintain responsiveness in a virtual office environment.
- Manage assigned tasks independently and respond promptly when critical situations arise.
- Collaborate in a team environment for efficient inter-departmental support and communication.

**Technical Requirements**
- Must have access to a trading-compatible personal computer — Windows-based, less than 3 years old, and capable of handling the strong demands of trading technology and continuous business use throughout the day.
- Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to communicate effectively via Teams, Slack, and other messaging apps.
- Must be well-spoken, fluent in English, and able to conduct themselves professionally in face-to-face Zoom meetings with traders and team members.
- Must be highly organized with an exceptional level of attention to detail, including the ability to keep accurate, detailed notes on each trader’s status, document needs, and transition stage, and maintain these records in a CRM system.
- Must be highly comfortable and extremely competent in using all forms of technology and software, including AI.
