Which consists of experts in different areas and provides specialized expertise and advise in cloud services, quality assurance, and software architecture to the organization’s SaaS businesses. This role requires a strong leader with a broad understanding of software engineering practices, excellent management skills, and the ability to drive collaboration across multiple technical domains. Additionally, the SaaS Technical Manager will manage and oversee projects within the service center and play a critical role in the M&A due diligence process, assessing the technical capabilities of potential acquisitions and ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. **Key Responsibilities** - **Leadership and Management**: Oversee the daily operations of the center of expertise, ensuring that the team effectively supports the SaaS Platforms in cloud services, QA, IT, Security and software architecture. - **Strategic Direction**: Develop and execute the strategic plan for the center of expertise, aligning its goals with the overall objectives of the organization and its independent SaaS entities. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Foster collaboration between the different service areas (cloud, QA, architecture, IT, Security) to ensure a unified approach to supporting the SaaS businesses. - **M&A Due Diligence**: - **Technical Interviews**: Process information from technical interviews related to software development and architectural design during M&A due diligence. - **Findings and Assessment**: Summarize and convert findings by external parties into concrete PCAL items, realistic timelines, and assess the criticality of these items. - **Business Case Understanding**: Understand the overall business case in relation to an acquisition and determine which software technical requirements must be met. Formulate a concrete gap list on the current state of the target to ensure successful acquisition. - **Advisory Role**: Serve as the primary advisor to the SaaS Platforms leaders on the services provided by the center, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of each business. - **Performance Management**: Set performance metrics for the team, regularly reviewing progress and making adjustments to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. - **Resource Allocation**: Manage the allocation of resources within the service center, ensuring that the right expertise is available to support each SaaS Platforms as needed. - **Continuous Improvement**: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the service center, focusing on enhancing service quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. **Qualifications** - **Experience**: 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. - **Expertise**: Broad understanding of SDLC, cloud services, quality assurance, and software architecture, with the ability to guide and oversee specialists in these areas. - **M&A Due Diligence**: Proven experience in conducting technical due diligence during M&A processes, with the ability to assess and articulate the technical capabilities and gaps of potential acquisition targets. - **Leadership**: Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives. - **Programming language**: Strong knowledge of different programming languages and programming principles - **Communication**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders and across diverse teams. - **Strategic Thinking**: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive service excellence. - **Project Management Skills**: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure successful delivery. - **Certifications**: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus **ESG** At team.blue, our commitment to caring for the environment and each other is at the heart of everything we do.
