The European Commission, in collaboration with national competition authorities, actively enforces EU competition regulations to enhance the functioning of EU markets, benefiting consumers, businesses, and the European economy. The Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) holds the main responsibility for overseeing these enforcement efforts. Modern IT solutions are developed to optimize business processes, with the primary aim of increasing both efficiency and effectiveness

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

***Your role**
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
- Data analysis, data modelling and production of software architecture documents;
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers;
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation,
deployment, evaluation and reporting;
- Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate them in the cloud.

**Who we think you are**:

- Java EE 8 or higher;
- Java tools and frameworks: Spring data (2.x and 3.x), Spring 5.x, Spring Security 5.x,
Hibernate 5.x, Spring Boot (2.x and 3.X);
- Front-end tools and frameworks: Angular (at least version 10+), eUI, HTML5, CSS,
JQuery, TypeScrpit, JavaScript;
- Middleware and back-end: Weblogic and Oracle RDBMS (atleast 12.x);
- Java Message Service (Queues and Topics);
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services (WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc.);
- Continuous Security Assurance: Fortify, SonarQube and/or OWASP
