As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading the proactive retention and growth of a number of assigned clients along with supporting the Client Partnership Directors to service a number of key accounts. You will have a previous track record of successfully managing and servicing clients in a digital agency, working on a mix of digital strategy and enterprise level design and build. Reporting to a Client Partnership Director, you will work alongside a cross-disciplinary team of PMs, BAs, Strategists, User Experience, Creative & Technologists.
**What we need**:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading the proactive retention and growth of a number of assigned clients along with supporting the Client Partnership Directors to service a number of key accounts.
You will have a previous track record of successfully managing and servicing clients in a digital agency, working on a mix of digital strategy and enterprise level design and build.
Reporting to a Client Partnership Director, you will work alongside a cross-disciplinary team of PMs, BAs, Strategists, User Experience, Creative & Technologists.
**What you’ll be doing**:**Specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)**:
- Building and maintaining relationships with your clients - to the point of trusted advisor status.
- Proactively developing and pitching fresh and innovative ideas to keep your clients abreast of new developments in digital.
- Support and work with Client Partnership Directors to respond to new business opportunities.
- Support and work with Marketing resources to educate and inform our clients about services and key developments.
- Ultimate responsibility for the assigned client relationships (though not necessarily day-to-day contact).
- Developing a deep understanding of your clients’ business, marketing and commercial objectives.
- Taking a client brief and disseminating it to a cross-disciplinary team of PMs, BAs, Strategists, User Experience, Creative & Technologists.
- Organising and leading regular review meetings with clients to monitor client satisfaction, ROI and site commercial performance.
- Responsibility for the (long term) strategic direction and planning of your client accounts, working with the Client Partnership Directors (as appropriate).
- Taking responsibility for:
- Compiling annual budgets and roadmaps for your clients.
- Creating and progressing sales opportunities from clients, from initiation to conclusion. This activity includes assembling resources to define and produce costs for the digital solution that will achieve the client objectives, defining the value proposition, writing the proposal / tender response, preparing and delivering presentations to clients.
- Proposing commercial engagement models that are beneficial to the client.
- Provide an escalation point for your assigned clients in relation to service provision.
**Who you are**:**Specific skills, experience and attributes include**:
- At least 3yrs’ experience in an account management role, within a digital agency / digital consultancy
- A passion for marketing technology
- Ability to lead and drive accounts, rather than just managing them
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Excellent presentation, consultative sales and negotiation skills
- Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options, make decisions, draw conclusions, and exercise judgment
- A strategic thinker who can clearly plan and articulate a strategy to the client
- Knowledge of Content Experience Management (CMS & CXM) platforms such as, but not limited to, Episerver and Kentico would be an advantage.
- Tenacity in staying on top of relevant digital trends and innovation.
