Task Description
As an IoT Account Manager, you will have a strategic account development role existing out of: Identifying and develop IoT sales opportunities within existing enterprise customers, further develop and grow existing IoT accounts in the Europe market. This role requires energy, ambition and focus. An IoT senior sales manager must be comfortable positioning and selling IoT solutions to all levels of an organization, across a wide variety of vertical IoT markets. You do not step back for pricing (re)negotiations and for understanding in-depth the drivers of your customers success.
On a daily basis you’ll play a key-role in maximizing our margin and you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Consult clients on the benefits of IoT and how it will digitally transform their businesses, resulting in a positive outcome for BICS at same time
- Managing existing and newly acquiring customers, provide them a smooth onboarding and early adoption
- Developing and maximizing company direct margin and strategic value in line with the company strategy for the go-to-enterprise
- Generating demand on the end-customer side across all media and prepare client pitches, presentations and offers to be presented to C-level stakeholders, achieving annual sales targets
- Orchestrate multi-party projects to close the deal
- Working closely with teams that support all customer-facing roles to achieve a great customer experience
- Standing as voice of the customer towards the company’s other stakeholders (customer feedback loop)
- Participating in customer meetings and events to strengthen your network, represent our company and build the crucial customer intimacy
- Work with IoT Engineers and customer success managers to increase account penetration and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate data and forecasts within SalesForce
The role will include business travel up to 15% of your time.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you:
- Have experience selling to enterprises and feel comfortable in articulating our solution value proposition together with creating a further market awareness
- Have the ability to be successful in a globally/virtually distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
- You like figures and translating those in a tactical plan, resulting in: achieve tactical, strategic and financial objectives for the assigned portfolio of customers
- Are confident in presenting to senior stakeholders with strong communication skills.
- Establish productive professional relationships with key personnel, influencers and decision makers
- You have distinctive communication and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex messages convincingly - in written, oral and presentation format
- Your working style can be described as collaborative, autonomous, proactive and structured and you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to support each other
- Are fluent in English
