Advanced Analytics Lead Hub

We are looking for an **Advanced Analytics Lead, **who is agile and innovative to work within the** Global Insights team, **based either in** Brussels, Belgium or Slough, UK.**

**About the role**

The mission of this role is to deliver data-driven actionable and impactful insights that create patient value and ensure the right allocation of resources for insight generation. You will ensure that UCB creates maximum patient value by supporting insight-driven decision making through Advanced Analytics initiatives.

This role plays an essential role in managing business needs in a particular therapeutic area, by leading advanced analytics initiatives from ideation over implementation until adoption with a clear focus on generating impact.

- Heads of Department & Leads of Advanced Analytics Engine group
- Global commercial, medical and patient leads for brands
- IT stakeholders
- Regional/Local stakeholders

**What you’ll do**

You’ll liaise with business stakeholders to identify and refine high-impact business problems and assess if a suitable advanced analytics solution can lead to impactful insights. Bringing a consultative mind-set with a deep understanding of the business and assigned therapeutic domain(s), and a strong knowledge of Advanced Analytics and Data across RWE, Medical, Access, GTM.

- Strong Leadership needed, working in ambiguity and matrix organizations.
- Build bridges between the business and technical teams, while ensuring a healthy balance between partnership and challenging each team on their assumptions.
- Model building is not required, but you must be able to interpret model results and identify potential model errors (e.g. overfitting, model bias, correlation vs causation).
- Mastering project management skills is essential. Specifically for Advanced Analytics projects, you should be able to guide projects from ideation through implementation until adoption. Within the overall organization, this requires a holistic skillset of traditional & agile methodologies.
- You are a crisp communicator and can tailor your communication style to technical and non-technical audiences alike. This means you are able to build a solid storyline to communicate the analyses to business leaders.
