Our client a non-for-profit association is the sector of the finance, is recruiting a Legal Officer.

The position is temporary (+/- 9 months with no possibility of extension), full time and located in Brussels.

You will be part of the Corporate Services (CS) unit. The mission of this unit is to maintain a solid, reliable and trusted environment for our client’s employees and provide support to business activities by delivering effective and efficient Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Information and Communication Technology and logistics services.
**Beschrijving**

As Legal Officer, you will:

- Manage, maintain and evaluate the contract performance with contractual obligations and monitor the renewable options or negotiation opportunities;
- Review/Establish contracts, agreements and negotiations from a legal perspective;
- Manage our client trademarks’ portfolio and IP protection, take care of registration of trademarks or legal actions against infringers of our client’s IP rights;
- Execute legal, due diligence;
- Monitor and maintain the administrators’ insurance portfolio;
- Manage interactions with external legal advice such as from attorney’s firms;
- Provide ad-hoc legal advice/support to the management and business units.

**Profile**
- University Degree in Law in one EU Member State
- Knowledge of international contract law
- Experience as legal expert
- Excellent command of English and another language of the EU (oral and written)
- Analytical skills and eye for details
- Excellent drafting skills
- Solution-oriented
- Organizational skills
- Sense of confidentiality and professional integrity;
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
