Hays is looking for a Business & Functional Analyst for one of our clients in Brussels.
Are you looking for a challenge as a Business & Functional Analyst within an IT department? Do you have an affinity with the financial world and would you like to develop yourself within this sector as a Business Consultant? Then you will be interested by this challenge
**The role you will take**:
You will be in charge of setting up the functional specifications of the information systems, in close collaboration with the users and you will also guide the users when putting the feature into production.
Next to that you will also work closely with the project manager to coordinate the testing and installation in production for the software modifications, and to rapport the progress of your tasks.
Also you will have an active role in internal white board sessions, the incidental solving (researching and fixing bugs in the software), and the follow-up and support of the designing and development of the system with the analyst-programmers.
If necessary, you will actively participate in the software development phase.
**Your profile**:
Bilingual in Dutch and French is a big plus and at least general knowledge of English.
You have an analytic way of thinking and good communicative competences. You are capable of communicating with users about functionalities of complex systems. You take initiative, can work autonomous, think solution-oriented and you are customer friendly with a good team spirit.
Furthermore you have knowledge about specific domains and software packages like DTS (Reporting and document automation), and SQL-competences are a big plus.
