SEC Newgate EU is a Brussels-based advocacy and communications consultancy with a global presence as part of the SEC Newgate Group.
We are looking for an experienced full-time Accounting and Administrative Manager to manage our financial operations, ensure organizational efficiency and support both staff and senior management.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Accounting_
- Manage daily accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, invoice verification, data entry, and payments.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee month-end and year-end closures.
- Provide financial insights for planning, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Participate in budget development by analysing financial data, tracking expenses, and providing insights for budget development.
- Contribute to financial forecasting for long-term financial planning.
- Work closely with CEO and external financial controller to ensure compliance with audits and corporate requirements.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Administrative Management_
- Oversee the daily operations of the office to maintain a productive and efficient environment.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Oversee office maintenance and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate office space management and front desk duties with the Receptionist.
- Plan and coordinate company-wide events, meetings, and corporate activities.
- Collaborate with our IT partner to maintain and improve office systems.
- Partner with HR on onboarding processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and Health and Safety regulations.
**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years accounting and admin experience in a multicultural corporate setting, ideally in Brussels.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work proactively, autonomously and in teams.
- High level of flexibility, confidentiality, and professionalism.
