Dark Light is specialized in staffing temporary projects with excellent business intelligence & data experts. We are working with data & insights driven companies, that are looking to scale up their current data teams. Currently we are urgently looking for an interim **Head of Data & Analytics** at an established company in **Brussels** for a period of **minimum 4 months**.

Job description:
As the Head of the IT Analytics you will be responsible for providing directions to head the team, shaping and owning the technology roadmap for:

- The implementation of the BI and AI Enterprise platforms including licensing, costs, platforms implementation and lifecycle.
- The exploration of innovative technology solutions and capabilities

You will manage the licensing costs of the technology solutions in scope of the department.

You will manage and support a Team to deliver and develop themselves within the organization

**Profile**:

- You have 10+ years in proven IT Leadership Roles of increasing responsibility
- 10+ years’ experience implementing Business Intelligence / Analytics/AI solutions
- 10+ years’ Project/program Management experience
- 10+ years’ experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, budgets and forecasts
- 10+ years’ people management experience while inspiring via thought leadership
- You develop communications strategy and plans and manage stakeholder relationships as an excellent communicator while seeking win-win situations
- Welcome and champion the change
- You are able to execute informed judgment/ strategic risk approaches and assumptions
- Experience setting up operating models for engineering development across the entire development lifecycle.
- Experience working with nearshore and offshore resource model.
- Experience with front-end tools and augmented analytics solutions like Qlik Sense, Cognos, Power BI.
- Knowledge of ETL, Data Virtualization and Data Warehousing solutions like SAS, BW, Hana, Snowflake, Denodo.
- Knowledge of Advanced Analytics/AI solutions like R, Python, Jupyter, Azure ML Services.
- Business understanding and technical competency in analytics solutions.
- Ability to solve complex problems and effectively shape technical solutions.
- Customer focused, energetic, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Ability to lead within a mixed outsourcing model
- Master agile and devops delivery methodologies and the concepts of demand and resource management
