Our client, a Venture Capital company, is looking for a Financial Controller for strengthening its finance team.
As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting for their activities. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall financial success and compliance of the firm.
**Responsibilities**:
Perform financial analysis and reporting,
Ensure accurate and timely financial closing,
Prepare and analyze financial reports (balance sheets, cash flow statements ),
Collaborate with the investment team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections,
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during the audit process.
Oversee tax and regulatory reporting requirements, including VAT, tax filings, and other statutory obligations.
Provide financial insights and support to senior management, including ad hoc financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
**Requirements**:
Degree in Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in the investment sector.
Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software, as well as advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. French or Dutch is an asset.
