The Team Manager SME LE Engineering UC&C Avaya & Mitel is responsible to manage a team of Engineers and Product Experts for 1 or more particular brand/vendor. In this case Avaya and Mitel. The main responsibilities of the engineers are: - Implementing the Solutions of the particular vendor, this can be done remotely, On site, or the combination of both - Providing 3 rd level support to 2nd line support - Opening and Follow up on cases with vendors **Your mission**: **Key responsibilities**: - Defines the team’s tactics/budgets and executes them consistently, is End-to-End responsible for monitoring/maintaining the helicopter’s view/conformity and compliance with the strategic objectives. Maps and analyses the current or future customers' needs and/or our products/services portfolio and/or incidents/problems in order to propose short - and long-term actions to achieve the objectives (or revenue results) and/or ensure the customers satisfaction, to contribute to the business strategy and finally to ensure/pursue a continuous and increased business security. - Identifies, allocates and/or financially secures team priorities and/or projects. Plans, manages and monitors the day-to-day operations of the team so that the short & long term objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are achieved, and this in good cooperation with various internal/external stakeholders and other Teams/Squads. - Manages and develops the people to ensure that the competencies, skills and know-how of all team members are developed and applied for the benefit of both the company and the individuals. Provides targeted, constructive and timely feedback and/or coaches the members of the team in order to facilitate/stimulate their growth and improves development points quickly and avoid problems for the future. Establishes a culture of "customer focus" as well as "self-learning and continuous self-improvement". Most important skills: - Is able to translate the company strategy into an own vision and strategy for the department/team. - Has a talent for managing, supervising and coaching the people/teams in combination with relevant knowledge of processes, technologies and platforms applicable within the field. - Possesses thorough analytical skills combined with a problem-solving approach. - Customer focus. - Is able to translate the best practices into own working methodologies in order to define and improve them within the competence of the team. - Has affinity with processes and procedures in a (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) "VUCA" environment and is able to be successful in guiding and supporting people through the changes. - Has experience in managing and drawing up budgets and business cases. - Works closely together with other teams and acts as a role model to inspire/motivate others in this.
