Bartender (M/w/x)

**Objective**:
To craft and serve both classic cocktails and innovative new beverages to our customers. The bartender will welcome guests, understand their preferences, provide recommendations, answer inquiries, and expertly prepare and serve drinks and food. Additional responsibilities include upselling items, developing recipes, utilizing appropriate equipment and ingredients, and performing essential cleaning tasks.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Interaction**: Welcome customers, ascertain their beverage preferences through attentive listening, make tailored recommendations, and take drink orders.
- **Menu Planning**: Design drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and special offerings.
- **Beverage Preparation**: Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to patrons.
- **Age Verification**: Verify customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and order supplies to keep the bar and tables well-stocked.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
- **Transaction Handling**: Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, return the correct change, and balance the cash register.
- **Work Area Maintenance**: Maintain a clean working and dining environment by disposing of trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**: High school diploma.
- **Additional Credentials**: Further education, training, certificates, or relevant experience may be required.
- **Age Requirement**: Meets the state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- **Availability**: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- **Professionalism**: Positive and engaging personality with a professional appearance.
- **Technical Skills**: Basic math and computer proficiency.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong task and time management capabilities.
- **Attention to Detail**: Keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform other physical activities for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs
