**LOCATION: Groot-Bijgaarden**, Belgium

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

The Demand Planner is responsible for managing the demand forecast and Master Data management to ensure a smooth product flow from production through to point of sale for BAT BeLux.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Demand forecast management for the BeLux market with end-of-month reporting to region
- Optimize short term production planning based on real-time sales and forecasts with stock checks at the start, middle, and end of each week
- Assess production dates and request adjustments to the Ops team as needed to avoid over and under stocks in function of sales fluctuation and stock policies
- Monitor timely deployment of stock from factory to warehouse
- Regular reviews with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing and SP&I Data teams to adapt forecast as needed. Challenge volume projections by the Sales and Marketing teams
- Weekly and monthly uploads of sales forecasts to create visibility for the Ops team to plan productions
- Master Data management and other operational upkeep to ensure smooth product flow from production

through to point of sale
- Maintain Master Data with focus on local description, EAN’s and pricing. For new products, lead internal communication flows cross-functionally
- Accurately communicate data updates via internal technical files (bi-weekly and monthly)
- Approval of online printed labels in a timely and correct way
- Analyse and produce ad hoc reports for the Demand department
- To act as back-up for the Customer Services Executive
- Able to cover daily sales order processing, invoicing and treatment of issues for direct customers during team absences through the year

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 1-2 years in a relevant role or FMCG experience is a bonus
- Proficient in numbers, able to present data and prepare reports
- Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Preferable: SAP & APO experience, or a similar ERP software
- Fluent English (written and spoken), Dutch and/or French is a plus

- Stress-resistant and adaptable to changing decisions driven by a dynamic industry
- Good communication and able to build positive relationships with all stakeholders involved (production planning hub, DRP, warehouse partner, and cross-functionally)
- Agility to deliver on tight deadlines without compromising work accuracy, discipline to self-check work independently
- Self-starter able to learn quickly and with a “can-do” mentality
