In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a culture of continuous learning across our vibrant community.

**Your impact**:
As Learning & Development manager, you will:

- Develop the strategic direction for learning and development across VIB - together with management and team leads - with a strong focus on soft skills.
- Translate VIB’s strategic priorities (e.g., digital transformation, organizational transitions) into targeted learning initiatives that build future-ready capabilities.
- Design a comprehensive learning ecosystem, including blended learning programs (classroom, online, coaching, mentoring) and deliver workshops where your expertise adds value.
- Build strong partnerships with internal experts and external providers to bring innovative, high-quality training to our learners.
- Perform training needs analyses, identify skill gaps, and turn insights into concrete development pathways.
- Work closely with colleagues responsible for scientific and technology-focused training activities and with the HR team.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, supporting career development and implementing performance and development programs in close collaboration with HR.
- Measure and improve impact, using data and feedback to refine programs and benchmark against best practices.
- Manage L&D budgets and governance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with L&D policies.
- Stay ahead of trends, maintaining a strong professional network and bringing innovative learning solutions to VIB.

**Your profile**:

- Solid expertise in learning strategies and modern training methodologies.
- Practical experience in change management to support organizational transitions.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their implementation.
- Familiarity with e-learning tools and digital learning solutions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and turn insights into actionable improvements.
- A collaborative, service-oriented mindset combined with the confidence to advise stakeholders and drive culture change.A genuine passion for learning. You continuously invest in your own development and bring fresh insights and innovation into the organization.
