Quality & R&d Specialist

**Your mission**:

- **
Champion quality processes** - Follow up on procedures defined by the R&D and Quality Manager, ensuring all tests are completed and our finished products meet the highest standards. You will Build strong supplier partnerships and collaboration with external labs and centers of expertise.
- ** Drive continuous improvement** - Collaborate with stakeholders to turn feedback into action plans, conduct audits when needed, and guarantee full traceability across our product flow.
- ** Build strong supplier partnerships** - Ensure quality follow-up with all suppliers, including audits when required.
- ** Be the go-to expert** - Act as the first point of contact for customer quality inquiries, providing fast, accurate, and reassuring responses.
- ** Own complaint & non-conformity management** - Monitor complaints from clients and suppliers, and follow up on all internal non-conformities.
- ** Guard our certifications** - Oversee the flow of quality controls, ensure compliance, and keep certifications up to date (organic, vegan, AFSCA/FAVV). You’ll also manage certification audits, HACCP plans, quality systems and IFS Broker Certification.
- ** Support product innovation** - Work closely with R&D on technical projects to ensure scalability and lean processes, including lab-based work.
- ** Lead sensory excellence** - Run our internal Sensory Panel, making sure GIMBER always delivers its signature taste and premium quality.

**Your profile**:

- A **bachelor’s or master’s degree** in science (Food Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field).
- A **process-driven mindset,** always looking for smarter, better, and more efficient ways to do things.
- ** Creativity and curiosity** — you’re not afraid to think outside the box and challenge the status quo to find fresh solutions.
- ** Strong ownership**: you’re confident making decisions, can work independently, and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- ** Adaptability and flexibility** — you thrive in a fast-moving scale-up environment where change is part of the game.
- ** Knowledge of quality systems** such as HACCP, Organic, Vegan, and ideally GFSI certifications.
- ** 3-5 years of experience** in a Quality or similar role within the food & beverage industry.
- ** Strong communication skills**: fluent in English and proficient in either French or Dutch
