Role Description and Key Responsibilities

**The role-holder will**:
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, identifying dependencies, key milestones, and necessary resources to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate the activities of internal teams and external partners involved in the project, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout the process.

Manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation plans and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Collaborate with operational teams to ensure that the cloud solution meets the operational needs of the product and allows for maximum scalability and flexibility.

Evaluate project performance through key metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and recommending strategic adjustments if necessary.

Provide inspiring and motivating leadership to the project team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Monitor and manage the consumption of project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within allocated limits and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

Establish and facilitate various oversight committees based on decision-making levels, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project objectives with organizational goals.

Collaborate closely with the technical lead to ensure the technical feasibility and integrity of the cloud solution, incorporating feedback and addressing technical challenges as they arise.

Work in tandem with the sales lead to understand customer requirements and market demands, ensuring that the cloud solution meets customer needs and supports business growth objectives.

Identify talent needs and participate in the recruitment process as necessary to grow the project team, ensuring the acquisition of skilled professionals to support project objectives.

Contribute to the drafting of contracts, procedures, and other project-related documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and alignment with project goals.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proven experience in managing large-scale projects,

Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at various levels.

Good knowledge of cloud principles and technologies (platforms such as IBM, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.)

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, motivate team members, and foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation.

Strong customer orientation and ability to understand and address end-user needs.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, project management, a related field (an asset).

Project management certification would be a plus (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or cloud certification (e.g., IBM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).

Communication

Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)

Good communication skills written and oral
