RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working remotely and at the client office in Brussels.
- Conduct Data Quality, Integrity and Consistency Assessment.
- Analyse the Data Quality Issues experienced by the Finance department on Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Figures.
- Make use of data analytics, data visualization, scripting and automation techniques.
- Identify the root causes of the Data Quality issues and inconsistencies across systems architecture, and data flows from Operating Systems to Regulatory Reporting.
- Contribute to initiatives to remediate Data Quality issues and inconsistencies.
- Coordinate the initiatives between Financial Accounting, Reporting, Data Management, and Credit Risk departments.
- Prepare, Coordinate, and Execute testing by detailed analysis of the delivered results vs the expected results.
- Coordinate, Follow up on the implementation of the solutions in the systems.
- Document the solutions and the linked processes.
- Ensure proactive, regular and clear communication between the Management and the different stakeholders.
REQUIRED COMPETENCES:
- Master / Bachelor or equivalent by experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a functional analyst in a financial institution or in the accounting department.
- Excellent analysis capacity of the as-is situation, the new business requirements and be able to define the GAP's
- Translate the result of the analysis into a comprehensive and detailed specification for the different IT teams.
- Knowledge of the testing process, organization and execution of testing.
- Technical design knowledge is a plus.
- Accounting and/or banking knowledge.
- English: Fluid written and spoken.
- Dutch or French: Fluid spoken
