Senior Accountant

**Robert Half Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **Senior Accountant (M/F/x)** for a permanent position based in **Zaventem**.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the **Services for Pharmaceutical sector**.

As **Senior Accountant (M/F/x)** you will be **responsible** for:

- Prepare and review reconciliations (monthly, quarterly) on inventory and intercompany accounts;
- Reconciling accounts with the general ledger;
- Execute month
- and quarter end closing activities - perform account analysis to make sure entries and balances are correct;
- Analyze and interpret financial information to provide assurance that information complies with professional and regulatory standards;
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information;
- Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals and reclassifications into the ledger, as well as preparing reports;
- Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping;
- Internal controls/compliance: ensure that internal and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls are adhered to and performed in a timely matter;
- Assisting in the preparation of the audit files and annual accounts.
- Preparation & filing of surveys;
- Assisting in the preparation of the TAX declarations and forms.

The required **profile** for the **Senior Accountant (M/F/x)** position:

- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- SAP & or Peoplesoft knowledge is a strong plus;
- Strong general accounting skills (statutory and international standards);
- Ability to work within a complex and changing environment;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft PC Tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio );
- Strong quantitative and analytical capability;
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Dutch and French;
- Can work independently but is also an excellent team player;
- Strong customer orientation (Countries, Businesses and Functions).
