Come join us on our journey to create solutions for sustainable agriculture at the Innovation Center of BASF Belgium Coordination Center CommV in Gent, Belgium. **RESPONSIBILITIES** - As the Regional Sourcing specialist EMEA you take care of the strategic sourcing for R&D within your Region. - You partner with Senior R&D leadership in your region to understand their strategy and align procurement resources that deliver value contributions to the business. - You ensure that objectives are met and coordinate and supervise value contributions. - You carry out market analysis, supplier selections, negotiations, and supplier relationship Management for assigned sub-categories. - You develop and implement R&D sourcing strategies in close collaboration with respective business partners. - You lead and coordinate sourcing events for R&D Services in alignment with the sourcing strategies. - As part of a global team, you work with the other regional leads to identify opportunities of continuous improvement, innovative solutions and synergies across Business Units, departments, and regions. **QUALIFICATIONS** - You have a bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Business. - Additional negotiation and financial acumen training is a plus. - You have experience in either 2-5 years in indirect Sourcing or 2-5 years in Supplier Management including negotiations/contracting or 3- 5 years in global business partnering. - You bring good knowledge and understanding of the Agroindustry and Seeds Business in specific. - Additionally, you have solid knowledge of Market and Spend analysis. - You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
