Junior Product Manager

**The Position**:
This is an exciting position that will provide you with exposure to an established, ambitious and rapidly growing European & Global Segments organisation. The EGS Group Propositions team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of group products and proposition across all EGS business segments to ensure we become the undisputed Whole Health partner of choice to the people we serve. Specifically this role will include supporting and and executing on our product roadmap to meet the needs of our customers, and maximising our growth strategy for the European & Global Segments organisation.

**Main Duties/Responsibilities**:
Provide advanced professional input to complex Product Strategy assignments/projects, responsible for the development of regionally appropriate, compliant and competitive new and existing products and propositions to optimise our Group product portfolio for all EGS segments and help drive incremental growth.
Ensure all product initiatives are compliant with our EGS Product Oversight and Governance (POG) policy and process, and help improve our POG process on an on-going basis
Research and recommend strategies to maximize product/brand appeal to target customers
Identify opportunities to maximize product/brand exposure and sales and be an advocate and champion of your product's brand
Support and provide direction to more junior product managers and wider team members
Ability to work autonomously and exercise judgement in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex product techniques and procedures
Utilise in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop and monitor customer journey models, procedures and trends within Product Strategy
Identify opportunities to maximize product/brand exposure and sales, be an advocate and champion of product brand
Partner with internal stakeholder teams (Sales, Client Management, Underwriting, Actuary, IT and Operations) to:
design, develop and launch new product initiatives.
improve the design and development of product development and governance processes, and create business cases.
Project management responsibility for new product development initiatives, when a project manager is not allocated, working in an Agile environment
Participate in regional and global enterprise projects that impacts the global product suite, including Helix, Salesforce Vlocity, Cignalinks NextGen, Enhanced Envoy, ESI etc..
Understand and leverage partnership strengths and capabilities to support growth within the markets
Evaluate product portfolio status on an annual basis and communicate to the product team and wider stakeholders
Provide updates to the Head of Group Propositions for reporting to senior management
Communicate and work with peers in the product team to knowledge share
Coordinate with other global product teams to knowledge share and align where necessary
Report project status, resource utilization and ability to recommend changes to improve the team’s overall effectiveness
Opportunity to work in a dynamic and agile team, working on strategic projects across the propositions team, including health services segments

**Qualifications/Experience Required**:
Bachelors Degree preferred; MBA or Masters Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2-3 years experience/knowledge of domestic and expatriate healthcare products and services, preferably within Sales, Product, Contracts or Marketing, and preferably with knowledge of group propositions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience of project management preferred
