- As payroll lead, you are responsible for the correct and flawless execution of the payroll for all 1700 blue collars in Belgium and all employees in Luxembourg. Cheers to dreaming big- The job:Coordinate the correct payroll runs with the best payroll user experience for all blue collars in BE and all employees in Luxembourg.
-You and your team are responsible to proactively do payroll checks
-In case of unclarities, questions or mistakes, you can estimate the sense of urgency and bring the right stakeholders together, to find the answers or solution.
-You make use of your excellent communication skills to connect and make sure the necessary information is shared and communications are done.
-You are up to date with the latest legal changes and company CLA’s that impact your payroll
-You and your team will translate these national/sector/CLA changes into what this means in terms of impact for your payroll and will explain this to developers
- Your Team:You guide your team towards your payroll mission and a continuous improvement of your payroll processes, payroll runs & employee experience.
-You build a strong team of in-house and external payroll specialists and are responsible for recruitment, engagement and development of your dream team.

Improve, standardize and simplify-
You use your expertise and analytical skills to gather data and learnings from previous payroll runs to identify the opportunities to further improve and standardize.
-You are not afraid to challenge other teams and bring other teams together to look at the end-to-end process from Workday to the payroll engine.
-You and your team perform in dept analysis to improve your next payroll run.
-You will prioritize all opportunities by using data, need, complexity, impact, cost.
- Profile:Preferably 3+ years of payroll experience
-Strong knowledge of social legislation with focus on payroll matters
-Real business partner & collaborator
-Dealing with confidential information
-Mathematically strong / analytical
-Time management / accuracy used to work with deadlines
-Excel-knowledge and/or interest in Excel
-Knowledge of SAP / SAP HR is a plus
-Strong communication skills on different levels; external partners, blue collar employees, leadership team,
-Autonomous
-High level of English and high-level Dutch or French
-Transformation and solution-oriented mindset
