We are hiring an **Project Manager** for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

As **Project Manager** you will be responsible for:

- Establish and execute the data governance implementation roadmap for DG R&I
- Drive the implementation of data cataloguing, metadata management and data lineage for existing and newly acquired data assets of DG R&I
- Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of DG R&I’s principal information assets
- Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
- Contribution to the definition and coordination of the data governance at corporate level in the Grant domain.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- 3 years of higher education.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:_
- Ability to give business and technical presentations
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in data governance and data management processes
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Analysis and problem solving skills
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
- Very good knowledge of data governance, experience in EC Data Governance process would be a strong advantage
- Knowledge of data catalogue products like (Atlan, DataHub, Amundsen or Colibra) is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of EU funding grant management process would be an advantage
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1/C2);

**SPECIFIC EXPERTISE**
- At least 2 years’ experience in Data Governance
- At least 1 year experience with Data catalogue products
- Experience with Data Management processes, knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK would be advantage**Important**
