- Job Description
- Interface between Louvain-la-Neuve factory and the markets
- Primary contact for PSPM’s (Platform Supply Planning Managers) and commercials.
- Responsible to coordinate answers to markets regarding product availability in case of demand change.
- Defines the level of priority of each product with the help of the PSPM’s and transfers this information to the production schedulers.
- Estimates with the support of the PSPM’s the financial impact of any potential supply disruption.
- Sales and Operations Planning
- Master Scheduler of 3 production lines
- Conducts a Rough-Cut capacity analysis based on Machines availability and available workforce.
- Close collaboration with the Detailed Scheduler.
- Part of the weekly Scheduling Meeting with Operations and Maintenance
- Inventory management
- Coordinator of the monthly inventory scanning exercise to determine all the products reaching expiry date before consumption or shipment.
- In charge of following-up all necessary actions to decrease the volume of obsolete products.
- Responsible to create and present, in collaboration with Finance Department, the monthly distressed inventory report to Management.
- Owner of the inventory projection report in value. The Supply Chain Analyst makes sure each kind of inventory is within the tolerances.
- Yearly Budget run
- Coordinates the budget exercise inside of the Supply Chain namely:
- definition of the shipments of each finished product- best estimate of the volumes to manufacture at each stage (antigens, semi-finished and packaging)- integration of the most suitable safety stocks- first capacity analyses vs. projected volumes- presentation of the output to each department- Requirements
- Master’s degree or three years of experience in a similar position.
- Rigorous, methodical, accurate, open-minded, proactive, and customer-oriented / result-oriented.
- With an analytical and structured approach in solving problems and in resolution process.
- Good interlocutor, able to give clear instructions, to summarize a situation and to lead a constructive debate towards a balanced outcome, considering the constraints of each group.
- Respect of deadlines and commitments, good management of priorities.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to speak and write fluently in French and English
- Previous planning experience is an asset.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is a plus.
