DIGIT.A.2 in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for EC and non EC entities, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

**Your role**:

- Plan, implement, maintain and upgrade secure DevSecOps pipelines for cloud based environments

(AWS);
- Facilitate the continuous delivery and automated testing of information systems in cloud based
- Promote the usage of DevSecOps methodologies for the DG TAXUD IT landscape;
- Contribute to the delivery and release processes for container based (Kubernetes, VMWare Tanzu,

etc..) and Cloud based pipelines (AWS, etc..);
- Administer the ALMTAXUD Platform (currently composed of Atlassian (Crowd, Jira, Confluence,

etc..)/non Atlassian Tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, etc..);
- Support TAXUD Digital Shared Services and CDCO implementation;
- Support and advise development teams in on boarding DevSecOps practices around continuous

deployment, automated testing and release pipelines;
- Support and advise development teams around the integration of various tools into the DevSecOps

pipelines, such as Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Nexus, PKS, AWS EKS, etc.. ;
- Define, design, coordinate, and review DevSecOps related architecture and procedural strategic

documentation;
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with business

stakeholders and Member States/National Administrations (and any other needed stakeholders);
- Management of one or more projects and report on its status;
- Escalate issues, in particular the ones with potential impacts on time or resources;
- Produce and/or review documents; follow-up document revision with an eye on project schedule

and deadlines;
- Provide suggestions for service or methodology improvements;

**Who we think you are**:

- Minimum 16 years’ experience in IT, including recent 4 years’ experience in the fields.
- Experience of large scale service support, service delivery and business continuity;
- Expertise of managing/administering/evolving/using and Application Lifecycle Management platform/toolset is required;
- Expertise of following tools is required (Bitbucket, Confluence, Crowd, Jenkins, Jira, Nexus, SonarQube);
- Excellent knowledge of cloud-based architectures and best practices in cloud computing, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for data analytics and processing.
- Good knowledge of business process analysis, with the ability to analyse, document, and optimize technical workflows supporting customs, taxation, and CBAM needs.
- Knowledge of interoperability technologies, including web services, message-oriented middleware, event-driven architecture, and API-based data integration to facilitate seamless data exchange between platforms.
- Experience in cloud migration strategies, including the review and transformation of legacy systems to cloud-native solutions, leveraging cloud components from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
