**What you’ll be doing**:

- Design and build hardware frameworks to integrate our vision systems in production environments.
- Select camera configuration and configure lighting setup.
- Translate concepts into 2D/3D CAD blueprints and bring them to life through prototyping.
- Work hands-on: machining, assembling and (if possible) welding stainless steel structures.
- Partner with our software team to ensure smooth hardware-software integration.
- Source materials and components, collaborate with suppliers and keep practicality in mind.
- Own your projects end-to-end independently, but always connected with the team.

**What you bring**:

- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.
- Solid skills in CAD design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Fusion 360).
- Hands-on prototyping experience (machining, 3D printing, assembly, etc.).
- Welding skills are a **big plus**,**especially with stainless steel for food industry setups.
- You thrive on turning blueprints into functioning machines.
- Independent and proactive: comfortable being the first dedicated hardware specialist at Polysense.
- Bonus: background in automation, conveyors, robotics or food/packaging machinery.
