**Beschrijving**
- Reviewing assigned cases and delivering underwriting decisions within agreed timeframes, to secure profitable business within authority level and risk appetite
- Contributing to the creation of segment and local business development plans that identify existing and regular flow of new business opportunities
- Build effective relationships with Underwriting and Commercial colleagues and other stakeholders
- Clearly articulate proposition and risk appetite
- Maximizing profitable business growth by
- Reviewing assigned existing business and/or seeking and following up on new business cases
- Effectively negotiating and delivering underwriting decisions
- Quickly identifying and escalating those non-standard, large and/or complex cases to more qualified colleagues and working with them to deliver excellent service to the broker/client
- Developing a trusted, deep and long-term relationship with selected brokers to generate, promote and close new, up selling and cross selling business opportunities
- Managing and working with others to take responsibility for the effective and prompt resolution of broker and/or customer complaints
- Following up on timely policy issuance by liaising with relevant internal departments
- Progress through license levels in accordance with development plan
- Capturing and recording data in a timely and accurate manner
- Providing guidance and coaching to less qualified / experienced colleagues as required

**Profile**
- You have a degree in insurance or finance or equivalent
- You have a first experience in the insurance sector and preferably experience as an underwriter property
- You have started to build an internal and external network of contacts
- You have an analytical mind, with the ability to build effective relationships
- You have strong commercial skills
- You are interested in working in an international company (occasional travel is part of the job)
- You have very strong language skills in Dutch and English as well as good knowledge of French
