We are hiring a Quality assurance Manager for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
- Tasks
- Participation in all relevant project meetings;
- Define and maintain test strategy;
- Define test scope;
- Define and maintain test cases;
- Execute test runs on new releases;
- Functional code reviews (in Bitbucket);
- Maintain and update user support information on wiki sites and collaborative sites.

Education and technical expertise
- Proven knowledge in end-user assistance or support for information systems.
- Proven knowledge in Quality Control.
- Good general IT skills (e.g. ability to understand JAVA code).
- Excellent communication / writing skills.
- Ability to give presentations and specialised IT trainings for end users.
- Ability to carry out manual testing of information systems.
- Ability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment.

Specific expertise
- Experienced with reading and understanding technical documentation (e.g. UML diagrams, User Stories, Domain Model);
- Experienced with IT Testing strategies;
- Experienced in defining test scopes;
- Experienced with the different types of test cases;
- Experienced in defining and preparing test data;
- Experienced with issue and project tracking tools (i.e. JIRA);
- Experienced with the use of wiki and collaborative sites;
- Experienced in preparing user support documentation.

Languages
- The consultant has to be fluent in English.
