We’re on the lookout for a Risk & Fraud Analyst to join our Financial Services team at Lightspeed. If you have a strong background in fraud prevention, credit risk, or financial services, and enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you’ll help protect Lightspeed and our global merchants from financial risks, ensuring smooth and secure transactions for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor and investigate transaction activity to detect anomalies and assess risks;
- Evaluate merchant credit profiles and assess the viability of high-risk businesses;
- Handle communication with merchants during investigations in a clear and empathetic manner;
- Track fraud trends and implement prevention strategies in line with industry best practices;
- Use internal dashboards and data tools to analyze behaviors and recommend actions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned, risk-mitigating decisions.

What You Bring
- Language knowledge of English and French fluently - Dutch is a plus
- Experience in fraud prevention, credit risk, or financial services (ideally in payments or fintech).
- Familiarity with card scheme rules, chargeback handling, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong data literacy with the ability to make decisions from multiple data points.
- Effective communicator with strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in fast-changing environments.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with using internal risk tools.
