**Who is Soitec ?**

Soitec Belgium nv based in Hasselt, offers industry-leading GaN-on-Si and GaN-on-SiC material solutions, enabling the next generation of Efficient Power Electronic, RF Power and Sensor devices, with today a strong focus on 5G telecom devices. The III-Nitride epiwafers are deposited by MOCVD in its clean-room facility operated in Hasselt.

**What is the job description?**

In an innovative environment, we are looking for an IT Site specialist to support Soitec Belgium’s expanding, we are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer that will take in charge all the IT topics for Belgium, your main missions will be:

- Office Automation & Account management (30 people)
- Infra admin tasks (Network, DB, storage backup)
- Physical installation of infrastructure or network equipment (Switches, ESX, wifi controllers) with support of central team
- Business Apps IT point of contact for global IT team and Belgian SG&A Business teams for support (Level 1 to Level 2 for Incidents, Changes, Problems)
- External IT support Contract Management and asset Management
- Liaise with Soitec Corporate IT team in Bernin, in order to prepare and implement IT integration projects and run (Network, Infra, Business Apps ERP, Reporting )
- Gather requirements from users (Manufacturing Executive Systeme - Production IT Systems, ERP, Data mgt,)
- Support level 1 & 2 on MES (SQL, C, C++, PHP, GUI/UX)

**You are **

Graduated with a degree in programming or engineering, you have hands-on experience with C/C++ and Python, PHP, TCP/IP networking as well as with implementing SQL based databases. Your knowledge of Igor Pro, R or JMP is an asset.
- Good working knowledge of the English language
- Open minded and a good team player, with strong communication skills
- A good ability to analyze, document, report, and resolve difficult problems in a complex environment
- Well organized, innovative, ethical and able to work independently
