Transport Manager

As a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and compliance of transport processes in line with Hilti’s standards.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- Minimum bacherlor's degree is required (Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering)
- Strong negotiation competences and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for Transport and relevant working experience in Logistics and/or Transportation
- Knowledgeable and analytical with good reporting skills - you have the ability to quickly develop a good understanding of processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in English at fluent/professional level, plus either Dutch or French. German is desirable

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Transport Manager at Hilti Belux, your key responsibilities include:

- **Transport Operations & Vendor Management**
- Oversee transport operations, including vendor management and pick-ups, to guarantee efficiency and service quality.
- Implement and monitor KPIs aligned with company strategies.
- Lead follow-up meetings to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement using the LEAN methodology.
- Act as the right hand of the Head of CX Operations for transport-related topics.
- **Invoice Validation & Cost Control**:

- **Manage internal requests for transport exception**s, ensuring proper approval and handling.
- Review of compliance with transport service levels, **analysis of KPIs**and deviations, establishment of specific action plans. Monitoring global transport policies and implementation at local level
- **Supplier Management & Process Development**
- Ensure transportation providers meet service expectations and negotiate competitive pricing.
- Define new processes in collaboration with internal departments (Customer Service, Warehouse, Finance, etc.).
- Participation in regional/global meetings
- Run & review the ICS controls related to transportation
